Cancer Treatment

West Shore cancer diagnosis and treatment services include laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, biopsies, surgery, and chemotherapy. For specialized treatment, including radiation therapy, Manistee physicians work closely with specialists at Munson Healthcare, University of Michigan, and other medical centers.

Cancer treatment is overseen by oncologist Carol Peterson, MD. West Shore Medical Center’s Cancer and Blood Services are located on the second floor of the Northwest Michigan Health Centers Building at 1293 E. Parkdale Ave., just west of the hospital.
