Diabetes Services

West Shore Medical Center offers a diabetes self-management program that is recognized by the American Diabetic Association and certified by the Michigan Department of Community Health.

Our self-management program helps you learn how to live well with diabetes. Group and individual classes provide information on nutrition, exercise, medications, glucose monitoring, and more. A physician referral is required before registering for the program.

Family members or others close to you are encouraged to attend (at no additional charge) to provide support. The class fee is covered by most insurance providers.
