Medical/Surgical

Our Medical/Surgical Unit provides care for those patients in need of inpatient services during an acute illness or following surgery. This unit consists of 23 private and semi-private beds. Advanced patient care technology includes an automated IV medication safety system and centralized telemetry capabilities.

New private inpatient rooms were recently added to provide more space and comfort to both patients and their families.

The 12 new rooms feature:

• Private bathing facilities
• An advanced call system
• Chairs and sleeper couches for family
• Wireless internet access

Other features in the wing include kitchenettes with refrigerators and microwaves and private consultation space for families.

The Medical/Surgical unit team is made up of registered nurses, support service assistants, patient care technicians, and unit clerks. These competent and compassionate individuals work collectively, along with other departments, to provide the best personalized care possible.
