Lifeline

The West Shore Medical Center Auxiliary operates the local Lifeline Alert Program. Lifeline is a medical alert and emergency response system that gives seniors the confidence to continue living independently in their own homes. The response system consists of a waterproof personal help button that is worn around the neck and a special telephone. In an emergency situation, the individual can press the button and activate the system, which sends help without delay. Auxiliary members install the system and coordinate the ongoing use for over 150 users in Manistee County.
